Medical aid shipments from action medeor

Our partner hospital in Ternopil received the first delivery two days after the outbreak of war. In the western Ukrainian city, action medeor set up a distribution center together with the hospital: Medicines, materials and medical devices are stored there and distributed to health facilities across the country: hospitals in Lviv, Kiev and the Mariupol region, among others be supplied.

Action medeor was able to launch a special form of help for the first time at the end of March: two ambulances were made available to the Ternopil hospital for the care of emergency patients. Six vehicles have now been delivered to different regions of Ukraine.

Dam burst near Kherson on June 6th, 2023

After the Kakhovka dam on the Dnipro River in southern Ukraine was destroyed, the masses of water flowed unchecked into the surrounding towns and villages. Thousands of people have left their homes with only a few belongings. Hundreds of thousands now only have limited access to drinking water. action medeor is working with local partners on site: the many people who are still surrounded by water are being supplied with medicine, household and hygiene items with the help of boats. In addition, those who had to leave their homes are provided with clean drinking water. Since the supply of water canisters is slowly running out, we are helping out with a delivery of water treatment tablets from our warehouse in Tönisvorst.
