In engaging, thematic presentations, we report on how action medeor works with local organizations to implement the human right to health worldwide. Would you like to see how an international aid organization works? Take a tour of our 4,000m² medicines warehouse and see for yourself how we provide direct medical aid. Numerous exhibitions and events Our rotating exhibitions make global connections visible and encourage visitors to reflect and get involved. Particularly popular is our Advent market, “Nativity Magic and Christmas Glow,” featuring fairly traded products and nativity scenes from around the world. Nativity Magic and Christmas Splendour at action medeor When the scent of Christmas is in the air, we invite you to join us on a special journey of discovery. At the ‘Nativity Magic and Christmas Splendour’ Christmas market, you can find gift ideas and lovingly crafted decorations from all over the world. Discover handmade paper from Nepal, felted sheep from Palestine, metal angels from Burkina Faso and many more fair-trade products. The accompanying nativity scene exhibition showcases the diversity of Christmas traditions around the globe. The Christmas market is open from 23 November 2026 to 8 January 2027. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 9.00 am to 3.30 pm, and Friday from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm. The exhibition will be closed from 24 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. Guided tours are available for primary school classes. Apple Blossom Run There’s plenty going on at the action medeor site even beyond the Christmas period: every year, the Apple Blossom Run attracts around 2,000 runners and some 5,000 visitors to Tönisvorst. With 20 stalls run by various companies offering a wide range of products and services, it is both a sporting highlight and a popular family festival. The date for the next Apple Blossom Run has already been set: it will take place again on 11 April 2027. We look forward to seeing you there!
