We classify donations from private individuals of 1,000 euros or more as large donations and 5,000 euros or more as top donations. With your large donation, we can implement sustainable projects that are geared towards the future and bring about a fundamental improvement in the situation on the ground, in addition to rapid medical aid. At action medeor, we recalculate the proportion of administrative and marketing costs relative to total donations every year and present this transparently in our annual report. In 2023, 3.95% of donations were allocated to administrative expenses, which include both personnel costs and the maintenance of our medication warehouse. 6.72% were used for communication, fundraising, and educational activities. 89.33% of donation revenues in 2023 went directly to project work and medication aid. You can also claim every donation against tax. You will automatically receive a donation receipt for larger sums in January of the following year or you can request one from us at any time.
