Providing disaster relief

In acute emergencies, help is needed quickly because people in the crisis region usually lack the most basic things: Clothing, water, food and medical care. After an earthquake, a tropical storm or a flood, central structures are often destroyed, supply routes are interrupted, many people are left without a home and urgently need a roof over their heads. Diseases spread quickly because the sanitary infrastructure is destroyed.

Together with local partners, we assess the exact needs in these cases and help with what is needed most. We often deliver relief supplies from our warehouse in Tönisvorst to the crisis area. However, depending on the situation on the ground, we also support our local partners in procuring relief supplies directly on site or in neighboring countries.
