Annual Report Download Download now: Annual Report action medeor e.V. 2025 The World’s Emergency Pharmacy – 2025 at a Glance In 2025, action medeor: Shipped 22,218 packages of medical aid from its 4,000 m² warehouse – to 24 countries. Implemented 55 development cooperation projects, 23 humanitarian aid projects, and 6 pharmaceutical advisory services. Reached 1.4 million people directly and 14 million people indirectly. Worked with 50 partner organizations in 24 countries – supported by around 160 full-time and over 67 volunteer workers worldwide. Thanks to your support, we were able to mobilize €13.8 million in monetary donations, €800.000 in in-kind donations, and €16.9 million in public grants. Why Our Work Matters The last years already showed what 2025 made even clearer: many countries are drastically cutting their aid budgets. At the same time, conflicts, diseases and climate-related disasters are on the rise. That’s why our mission remains vital: ensuring access to healthcare where survival is at stake. What We Achieved in Practice Myanmar: Support for a mobile clinic and local procurement of medicines to ensure access to healthcare for people in the rural earthquake-affected region. Nepal: Establishing sustainable healthcare and livelihood opportunities for more than 2,200 students in hard-to-reach areas. Mexico: Construction of a healthcare centre and support for people on the move. Sudan: Despite civil war, refrigerated shipments of medicines reached West Darfur via Ethiopia and Chad – lifesaving for 15,000 people. Ukraine: In the south of the country, destroyed healthcare facilities were rebuilt, enabling around 1,000 medical consultations per week to take place. Malawi: action medeor was able to improve conditions in 100 of the country’s 300 hospitals. Among other achievements, a training centre for biomedical engineering was established, healthcare facilities and hospitals were stocked with essential medicines, and vital medical equipment was provided. “When we first visited Nepal four years ago, the villages had neither clean water nor proper sanitation facilities.
