Provide for healthcare services in Gaza

Medical care in the Gaza Strip is in a catastrophic state. Most hospitals are either out of service or severely overstretched, and there is a critical shortage of medicines, relief supplies, and medical staff.

Together with local partners, action medeor is committed to supporting the medical teams on the ground. The medicines and medical supplies are intended to support 20 healthcare facilities and medical service points in Gaza.

At the healthcare facilities of the partner organization PMRS, stocks of medicines have largely been depleted. Urgent replenishment is needed to ensure that people who are ill, injured, or living with chronic conditions can receive medical care. However, this remains challenging due to restricted access for humanitarian supplies. The procurement of medical relief items will be carried out as soon as the situation allows for the delivery of medicines and medical materials.
