Included were painkillers, antibiotics, anthelmintics, medication for cardiovascular diseases as well as masks, scalpels and cannulas. Since 2015, Yemen has been facing a severe and complex humanitarian crisis caused by years of civil war, climate change and, most recently, the coronavirus pandemic.
