Syria Turkey Report from the earthquake region Close-up 02 April 2023 After his trip to the earthquake zone, action medeor employee Markus Bremers reports on his impressions. Help still needed! Eight weeks after the devastating earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, there is less and less media coverage. Yet the need on the ground is unbroken. Entire cities lie in ruins, rubble is everywhere. The clean-up work continues. There are tent camps on every corner where people who have lost everything in the earthquakes are living. Help is needed here. Not just today, but also in the coming weeks and months. Medical care for the whole country Thanks to the tremendous support of our donors, we are working with our partner organizations to provide people in the earthquake region with food, clothing and hygiene products, among other things.
