Establishing health structures in Tanzania

More than 10 years ago, Hanni von Kameke, granddaughter of the founder of Jungheinrich AG - today a leading global logistics company - began her private commitment to action medeor.

Since then, she has supported a wide variety of projects, all aimed at strengthening sustainable healthcare structures in Tanzania. Thanks to her commitment, the need for an additional ward at St. Elisabeth Hospital in Arusha could be realized. Thanks to her support, the construction of staff accommodation at Endulen Hospital, also in northern Tanzania, was also made possible.

In 2023, Hanni von Kameke got involved in Kibaha near Dar es Salaam: Together with other supporters, she helped action medeor build a training center for medical technology and a production facility for reagents. Her donation benefited the operation and equipment of the associated quality laboratory. Hanni von Kameke regularly travels to Tanzania with our team to visit their projects and see for herself what her support is achieving.
