The third winter of war has begun While we in Germany bring out our Christmas decorations and start buying gifts, many families in Ukraine are burdened with existential worries and fears: cold and rain seep through broken roofs and windows. Our partner organization’s mobile pharmacy specifically travels to these places, distributing essential medicines and treating the elderly and sick. Numerous families live in houses damaged by shelling, no longer protected against the cold weather. action medeor provides repair kits, tools, stoves, and heating materials to keep them warm through the winter. The war hits children particularly hard, with many having experienced trauma. action medeor enables safe spaces for children where they receive warm meals and regain a sense of normalcy through afternoon play activities.
