Humanitarian aid for victims of the war in Ukraine

The ongoing war in Ukraine is forcing many families to flee their home villages and towns. Many seek refuge as internally displaced persons within Ukraine, while others flee abroad. The small neighboring country of Moldova - one of the poorest countries in Europe - is taking in many people from Ukraine.

To support the needy families in Ukraine and Moldova as well as people in need in the host communities, action medeor and its partner organization IBC have set up a comprehensive aid project: From the distribution of medicines and hygiene products and support for medical facilities to the distribution of hot meals and fuel during the cold winter months, we are responding to the most urgent needs of the people in the project.
