At the HOLIDAY ON ICE performance on 19 November, five euros from every ticket sold will go to the Tönisvorst Medicines Aid Organisation. The partnership between the EisSport & EventPark and the “Notapotheke der Welt” has been in place since 2019. Bernd Schoenmackers, managing director of the Grefrath-based EisSport & EventPark, highlighted this during a visit to Tönisvorst.

“We are delighted to continue our wonderful collaboration with action medeor. The ‘Show for Charity’ combines a special event experience with the opportunity to support people in need,” says Schoenmackers.

An example from action medeor’s work illustrates just how much an amount as small as five euros can achieve: this sum is enough to provide around 250 painkillers, which form part of basic medical care in all crisis regions.

“Every ticket helps us to get medicines to where they are urgently needed. That is why we are delighted to have the support of the EisSport & EventPark and its visitors,” says Dr Angela Zeithammer, Executive Director of action medeor.

The title of this year’s HOLIDAY ON ICE production is “MIRAGE”. The new show combines world-class figure skating with a festival atmosphere and tells a story of big dreams, special encounters and what really matters in life. The charity performance builds on this idea: by buying a ticket, guests are also supporting the medical aid provided by action medeor to people in crisis and disaster zones.

“MIRAGE” will be performing at the Grefrath EisSport & EventPark from 18 to 22 November 2026. Advance ticket sales have already begun. Tickets are available from €37.00 at www.eisstadion.de and all usual ticket outlets.
