Tanzania action medeor in Tansania: New medication warehouse is being opened Short news 13 June 2025 To attend the opening ceremony of action medeor Tanzania’s new headquarters, representatives of the presidium, advisory board, and management of action medeor Germany, as well as two colleagues from action medeor Malawi, traveled to Tanzania. The trip also provided a wonderful opportunity to meet long-standing partners and their teams, such as Cardinal Rugambwe Hospital and the Anglican Health Centre, and to learn more about their work. Challenges such as the reduction of USAID funding were discussed, as well as successes: one nurse reported that there have been no childbirth-related deaths since the year before last, and that malaria infections have also been declining for some time. These are truly hopeful reports that encourage us to continue pursuing our vision: to ensure that people receive medicines and access to healthcare exactly when they need it most!
