Exhibition: 60 years of action medeor

In 1964, family doctor Dr. Ernst Boekels from Vorst had a vision of a world in which no one had to die from a treatable disease. Together with committed citizens, he founded action medeor.

To mark the anniversary, the Tönisvorst-based medical aid organization is now hosting an exhibition. Twelve display boards show the development of the small association in Vorst into the largest medical aid organization in Europe. Emergency and disaster relief is mentioned as well as the project work, which is becoming increasingly important. The locations in Tanzania and Malawi as well as the subsidiary action medeor labworks GmbH founded by the association in 2021 are also presented.

The exhibition “60 years of action medeor” will be on display in the foyer of the medical aid organization at St. Töniser Straße 21 in Vorst until mid-November 2024. It can be visited Mondays to Thursdays from 9 am to 3.30 pm and Fridays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. Admission is free of charge.
