Even in the current situation, action medeor is working flat out to provide effective aid for the population in Gaza - because the suffering is still great. There is still a shortage of food in particular, as our partner UPA reports: "Every day without enough food jeopardises the most vulnerable - babies, children and the elderly." Medical care also remains completely inadequate. However, it is crucial that large quantities of food and medicine reach the Gaza Strip immediately and that people receive humanitarian aid without obstruction. What we are already doing Despite the ongoing restrictions, we are currently able to provide 25,000 people with warm, nutritious meals together with our local partners in Gaza. For many, this is the only proper meal of the day and therefore an important contribution to combating famine.
