The aim is to support particularly outstanding students who have shown special professional competence or social commitment. The endowment fund thus helps to promote pharmaceutical expertise in Tanzania and counteract the brain drain of well-trained specialists. The Felix Wiemes Endowment Fund shows how you can support the goals of action medeor in the long term. Rotta Charles Lukiza and Mbonea Erick Mbwambo are the current winners of the Felix Wiemes Endowment Fund. Both are studying pharmacy, focusing on the safety and availability of medicines. "My goal is to become a competent pharmacist," says Lukiza, describing his motivation, while for Mbwambo it's a different matter: "I want to help solve problems in our healthcare system with the help of well-collected health data," he says.
