A special feature of the partnership is the Rest Cent campaign by Jungheinrich employees. Together they achieve great things with small amounts. Employees who wish to participate in the campaign donate the cents “after the decimal point” in their monthly pay slip. Jungheinrich doubles this amount and also donates the tax benefit. The entire company is thus jointly committed to better healthcare worldwide. At Jungheinrich, the cents behind the decimal point are withheld in an automated payroll process, shown in the monthly pay slip and posted to a Jungheinrich AG donation account. After the doubling campaign by the Board of Management, the donation amount is then transferred to action medeor. The great thing is that the employees can be told exactly what the donation is being used for. Charity campaign - Fortuna Düsseldorf cup deposit Fortuna Düsseldorf has been a social partner of action medeor since 2012 and works together with the aid organization to improve healthcare worldwide. Fortuna Düsseldorf supports action medeor with various charity campaigns such as the cup deposit campaign. On several occasions, fans have had the opportunity to hand in their deposit cups for a good cause at the end of Fortuna soccer matches. The cups are collected by hard-working helpers, not least with the active support of the Ratinger Tor Lions Club. Donations instead of gifts - Sartorius AG As part of the “Donations instead of gifts” initiative, Sartorius AG supports the work of action medeor by foregoing Christmas presents for customers and business partners. These donations provided valuable support for emergency aid projects and various development cooperation projects in South America and Africa. Cause-related marketing - Grenzland soccer school Sport, health promotion and social commitment - a perfect match. At the Grenzland soccer school, young athletes are already experiencing this. The RP Sportmanagement agency offers multi-day soccer camps for children in various cities during all vacation periods. When registering for the soccer camp, participants have the option of rounding up the participation fee by one euro in aid of action medeor. Every euro donated will then be doubled by the Grenzland soccer school. Charity event - team building at the “TeamExperience” Three members of the Unternehmer-Initiative Niederrhein organized the “TeamExperience” event to support the work of action medeor. Employees and managers can experience professional team building together and get involved with action medeor in the process. The TeamExperience has been taking place since 2017. As part of a one-day event, the company teams go through various team-building stations and earn points for the tasks. The company donates to action medeor for every point scored.
