Annual Report Download Download now: Annual Report action medeor e.V. 2024 The World’s Emergency Pharmacy – 2024 at a Glance In 2024, action medeor: Shipped 18,671 packages of medical aid from its 4,000 m² warehouse – to 38 countries. Implemented 27 development cooperation projects, 23 humanitarian aid projects, and 6 pharmaceutical advisory services. Reached 2.2 million people directly and 10 million people indirectly. Worked with 42 partner organizations in 25 countries – supported by around 1,200 full-time and over 1,000 volunteer workers worldwide. Thanks to your support, we were able to mobilize €18.8 million in monetary donations, €1.1 million in in-kind donations, and €16.1 million in public grants. Why Our Work Matters 2024 already showed what 2025 will make even clearer: many countries are drastically cutting their aid budgets. At the same time, conflicts, diseases and climate-related disasters are on the rise. That’s why our mission remains vital: ensuring access to healthcare where survival is at stake. What We Achieved in Practice Ukraine: Mobile health teams provide care to displaced people near the frontlines – often the only help available for elderly or bedridden patients. Sudan: Despite civil war, refrigerated shipments of medicines reached West Darfur via Ethiopia and Chad – lifesaving for 15,000 people. DR Congo: Thanks to proactive logistics, medicines remained available even during crises – a key advantage in the fight against Mpox. Nepal: In partnership with ECCA, access to clean water and hygiene was improved for 2,500 households – including awareness on menstrual hygiene.
