A Thank You from Burundi! Short news 11 July 2025 This week, we received radiant smiles from Burundi. Why? Relief supplies have arrived at the Makombe refugee camp! A few weeks ago, we told you about this camp. Thousands of people have fled here from the Democratic Republic of the Congo – often having to leave all their belongings behind. Now, many families have received relief items such as household goods, hygiene products, and sleeping mats. The depleted supplies in the camp's pharmacy have also been replenished. This aid means the world to the people from the DR Congo: “We didn’t even have a jerrycan to fetch water or mats to sleep on,” one woman in the camp told us. “We pray to God to bless the person who gave us these things.” Your donation makes a difference!
