What we do

Founded 1964, the charitable, non-governmental organization action medeor e.V. today is the largest medical aid organization in Europe.

Team

Currently 67 employees work for action medeor, 31 voluntary helper support the work of the medical aid organization.

We provide medicines, medical equipment and everything else needed for basic medical care and offer advice on determining your requirements and selecting products.

action medeor supports the pharmaceutical sector in the developing countries by providing training courses since 2005.

action medeor’s concept of supporting local structures in the drug supply chain is embedded in national, regional and international standards.

In emergency situations action medeor supplies medicines and medical supplies, supports medical care and the reestablishment of medical infrastructure.

Maternal and child health

Each year about 287.000 women are dying due to complications during pregnancy and child births, 99% of them in developing countries.
