International Conference on Local Production

Insufficient access to essential medicines is a common health burden in developing countries and was topic of the international pharmaceutical conference on 21st February 2013 in Bonn, Germany.

Together with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, action medeor invited to the one-day conference in Bonn, Germany.

Main topics were the chances of local production and its impact on access to health with different stakeholders, particularly from Africa.
